SUSTAINABILITY

We love the planet and are consistently striving to reduce our environmental impact. 

As we were conducting research, we discovered that the global clothing production accounts for 10% of the worlds annual carbon emissions. In just Australia, every 10 minutes, 6000kg of clothes are thrown away, destined for landfill. 

We both then realised that this was now our responsibility to bring affordable fashion to our customers sustainably, adhering to our values. This is when SOKEN’s vision become to revolutionise the idea of hiring. We encourage sustainability through reducing consumption and production as our customers are not buying each dress brand new.

The less fashion that is produced, the less impact we have on the environment through fossil fuels and resource exploitation. As we are a young company, we are constantly looking for new and different opportunities to ensure sustainability and not to shy away from the complex challenges facing this industry!
